The Town Clerks' Office is CLOSED on EVERY ELECTION DAY.

HOW TO REGISTER TO VOTE
FOUR WAYS TO REGISTER TO VOTE--each requires proof of age, citizenship, and domicile, by document or affidavit.
- You may complete the voter registration forms at the town clerk's office prior to the Supervisors of the Checklist last session scheduled to be held before the election. You are registered to vote when the Supervisors of the Checklist have reviewed and approved your application.
- You may request voter registration forms and instructions from the Town Clerk before requesting an absentee ballot. You are registered to vote when the Supervisors of the Checklist have reviewed and approved your application.
- You may also register to vote with the Supervisors of the Checklist. They are required to meet at designated times to accept registrations and changes in party affiliation. These times are posted in the local newspaper, posted outside the Vet's Hall and the Town Hall.
- You may also register to vote on the day of any election, at the polling place (Vet's Hall, 150 Old Homestead Hwy).

BY ABSENTEE BALLOT:
By New Hampshire Law, a person qualifies to vote absentee because:
- The person plans to be absent on the day of the election from the town where the voter is domiciled.
- Of a disability.
- Of observance of a religious commitment.
- Of concerns for the novel Coronavirus.
- The person cannot appear at any time during the poling hours because of an employment obligation. This includes the care of children and infirm adults, with or without compensation.
Absentee ballots are available from the Town clerk approximately 30 days before an election. Request the absentee ballot application from the clerk or you may download the application (see below). An application for an absentee ballot may be transmitted by FAX to the town clerk (603-239-4615).
